Orientation and Registration

I attended New Student Orientation on 10 December to learn about ther services available at Truman College and register for the first time. The presentation explained the processes at the college. I registered for the following schedule:

Algebra of real numbers, integer exponents, polynomial operations, factoring, rational and complex expressions, linear equations, word problems, quadratic equations, and graphical and algebraic solutions of simultaneous linear equations. Writing assignments, as appropriate to the discipline, are part of the course. Prerequisites: Placement test or consent of department chair.

INTDSP101ECollege Success Seminar
This course, paired with another course, focuses on enhancing success in college by teaching students to apply the skills that lead to success; time management, successful study habits, academic planning, and other useful skills. Writing assignments, as appropriate to the discipline, are part of the course. Prerequisites: This course will focus on succeeding in college at two levels, the academic and the practical. All first time, full time students, or transfer students with a GPA less than 2.0 are required to take this course.

INTCOMM99JKSIntegrated Communications Studies
This course integrates reading and writing instruction. The course will prepare students to acquire and develop critical literacy skills. Writing assignments, as appropriate to the discipline are part of this course. Prerequisites: Placement test or consent of department chair.

This is a full time schedule and I have applied to enter the DePaul Admission Partnership Program (DAPP) for the Fall term so I can recieve proper transfer advising for DePaul University's B.S. in Network Technologies program. I am currently registered in Truman's Associate in General Studies so I can take both Computer Information Systems (CIS) and Network Technologies (NET TEC) courses as well as make sure they all transfer.
