Preparing for Masters Program

I am examining masters degree programs in Information Technology. I am in the process of applying to DePaul University and Jones International University. My program of study at DePaul would be Computer, Information, and Network Security with a concentration in Computer Security. At Jones International the degree would be an MBA in Information Security--Cyber security.

I am planning to begin taking programming courses and the required Math for the DePaul in the summer semester. I am planning to meet with advisors at DePaul and Truman to discuss the sequence. I am currently aiming to take CIS 103 Introduction to BASIC Programming Language (3), CIS 142 Introduction to C/C++ Programming Language (3), CIS 144 Introduction to Java Programming (3) and CIS 244 Advanced Java Programming (3). The Math courses that will be helpful are MATH 140 College Algebra (4) and MATH 146 Discrete Math (3). The DePaul advisor will assist with transferability. This will take one year unless the Truman advisor recommends that I take math and programming courses separately.
